Foundation has made a point in showing that death is not the end for its characters. Gaal Dornick has beaten the ravages of time, so has Salvor Hardin. Hari Seldon has also cheated death in a few different ways. With Foundation having a huge history of death being bypassed, it makes the big death in Season 2, Episode 6 "Why the Gods Made Wine," even more confusing for fans. The episode try to set up a major death, but all it has done is made events of the Season seem pointless and confusing.
