Ahsoka has seen the return of many elements of Star Wars Rebels to the galaxy far, far away. The latest live-action Star Wars series to come to Disney+ picks up where Star Wars Rebels left off, following former Jedi Ahsoka Tano and the Mandalorian Rebel Sabine Wren, as they set out in search of their old ally Ezra Bridger and arch enemy Grand Admiral Thrawn. Continuing the story that began on Rebels has required several animated elements to be brought into the world of live action for the first time. While this has predominantly meant characters, such as Sabine, Hera Syndulla and Chopper, the task also extended to the planet of Lothal.
