One of the most interesting facets of The Nun II is how the Conjuring universe has opted to continue the story of Valak. It's yet another prequel tale, following the Annabelle route, and surely whetting the appetites for when The Conjuring 4 eventually rolls out. Still, many were skeptical, wondering if this horror universe was milking Valak for all she's worth.
