When Pokémon Horizons started, it seemed like it would improve on the globe-trotting premise of Pokémon Journeys. The Rising Volt Tacklers allowed Liko and Roy to leave their homes, travel to the corners of the world, and uncover the world's mysteries. Liko and Roy, in particular, would be looking to uncover the secrets of Liko's pendant and the Ancient Pokéball, respectively. These mysteries were supposed to take them around the world, but they've spent most of their time thus far exploring one particular region — Paldea.
