It's May 2024, and that can only mean one single thing: a new batch of LEGO sets is now available for your brick-building pleasure. Fresh LEGO releases this month include a bunch of Star Wars sets in honor of May the 4th, a.k.a. Star Wars Day, plus a bunch of Despicable Me 4 sets, and more. Let’s take a look.

New Star Wars LEGO Sets

More at LEGO Store

A number of new Star Wars sets are now available, including a Droideka set straight out of the invasion of Naboo. You can easily detach the arms and legs to turn it into the ball form from the movie. The podrace diorama is awesome as well. But the most impressive (and expensive) set is the new TIE Interceptor, which is exclusive to the LEGO Store. It’s available now for LEGO Insiders (sign up here for free) or on May 4 for everyone else.

LEGO Minifigures Series 26

A new batch of minifigs has hit the market, and this one is sci-fi themed. It features 12 figures to collect, including Blacktron Mutant, M-Tron Powerlifter, Robot Butler, Nurse Android, Flying Saucer Costume Fan, and Spacewalking Astronaut. Each minifigure comes with an accessory.

Despicable Me 4 LEGO Sets

Despicable Me 4 will be out July 3, but these four new LEGO sets are here now. I like the Brick-Built Gru and Minions set the best, but they’re all pretty great for fans of the silly series.

LEGO Disney Inside Out 2 Mood Cubes

Inside Out 2 hits theaters on June 14, but you can pick up this Mood Cubes set now to get ready for it. It comes with nine changeable mood plates, plus Joy and Anxiety mini-doll figures.

LEGO Ideas Red London Telephone Box is Available at Amazon

This set came out in February on the LEGO Store, but it has finally made its way to Amazon. It’s geared toward adults and not too exciting on the surface, but I just love it. It offers a perfect square plot of London, including an iconic K2 telephone box, a patch of cobbled sidewalk, a light pole, fence, and flowers. It’s just lovely.

NASA Apollo Lunar Roving Vehicle - LRV is Up for Preorder

A new NASA collaboration is up for preorder. This LEGO Technic set depicts the LRV from the Apollo 17 mission, complete with steering, suspension, and all kinds of true-to-life details.
