Though Season 2 of Amazon Prime's hit animated superhero series, Invincible, only premiered on November 3, 2023, it already has a buzz around it. After watching the first episode of this new season, there's no wonder why. With the series' first debut in March 2021 and based on the lesser-known comic book series by Robert Kirkman of the same name, Invincible captured the hearts of adult superhero fans everywhere. Season 1 follows the titular Mark Grayson, aka fledgling superhero Invincible, as he comes into his powers. The Earth's current protector is Omni-Man, but Mark tends to call him Dad. Omni-man often works alongside the Guardians of the Globe, an elite superhero team that fights together against threats. So, when the Guardians of the Globe are murdered and only Omni-Man barely survives the attack, the mystery of what happened that night unfolds as Mark explores his role as a half-alien superhero.
