Science fiction is one of those genres that gives rise to a wide variety of stories that can cross very easily into other genres as well. There's always something out there for anyone that can involve a touch of sci-fi. Which means that there is a lot of sci-fi anime to choose from. Some of the greatest of the medium fall under that category with stories like Cowboy Bebop, Trigun, and Ghost In The Shell standing tall among most of them. But with so many amazing sci-fi anime out there, it's very easy for some truly amazing stories to get lost in the shuffle.
