The best daily deals for Monday, October 9 include a bunch of Amazon Prime Day deals and Walmart counter-sale deals that have gone live early. That includes the best deals we've seen on popular LEGO sets, a ridiculous price on a 75" Sony 4k smart TV, the lowest price you can get on a brand new Apple iPad, a sweet discount on Samsung's best gaming monitor, and more.
LEGO Technic The Batman Batmobile 42127 for $55
As part of Walmart's Early Holiday Deals Kickoff Event, you can get the LEGO Technic The Batman Batmobile 42127 for only $55. That's a pretty impressive 45% price drop from its original $100 MSRP and a fantastic value at only 4 cents per brick. This is a fun build that offers a high brick count and a good challenge for older kids ready to graduate from the easier LEGO builds to the more complex ones designed for adults.
75" 2022 Sony X90K 4K TV for $998
Walmart is offering this 2022 77" Sony Bravia XR X90K 4K TV for a super low price of $998. This exact same TV currently costs $400 more on Amazon. The X90K is an excellent TV set for both HDR streaming and current generation PS5 and Xbox Series X gaming. If you're looking for a very large TV that can play games at 4K @ 120Hz, you'd be very hard pressed to find a better deal than this, even during Prime Day.
2021 Apple iPad 10.2" 64GB for $249
For Amazon Prime Day, you can pick up the 2021 Apple iPad 10.2" Wi-Fi 64GB tablet for only $249.99. This iPad normally retails for $329, so you're saving about 25%. This is the lowest price we've seen for what is already the most affordable iPad you can get. Even though this is an older model iPad, it's still brand new and comes with a 1 year Apple warranty. We've seen this deal before during previous Prime Days and Black Fridays (and it's always been a really hot seller), but we doubt we'll see this for too much longer since Apple no longer manufactures them.
PS5 Disc Edition Console with $100 Dell eGift Card for $499.99
As part of its Cyber Week Savings Event, Dell is offering a bonus $100 Dell eGift Card when you purchase the PS5 Disc Edition gaming console for $499.99. That's the best PS5 console deal available, especially since we haven't seen a single good console deal from Amazon during its Prime Day Sale.
Dell is offering a $75 Dell promotion egift card when you purchase the PS5 disc edition console. You will receive the gift card via email within 20 days after the PS5 ships and it will expire 90 days thereafter. Use the gift card to buy almost anything at Dell including gaming PCs, gaming monitors, gaming consoles, and even PS5 accessories like a DualSense controller or Pulse 3D gaming headset.
49" Samsung Odyssey OLED G9: The Best Ultra-Wide Gaming Monitor
For Amazon Prime Day, you can get the flagship 49" Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor for only $1399.99. That's $200 less that the previous lowest price we've seen and a hefty $400 price drop from its current $1800 MSRP. If you're looking for the best ultra-wide monitor on the market at a price that isn't out of this world, there's no need to look elsewhere.
The Odyssey OLED G9 replaces the Neo G9 as Samsung's latest and greatest flagship gaming monitor. The most noticeable upgrade from the Neo G9 is the quantum dot OLED panel. The previous gen Neo G9 utilizes a QD Mini-LED panel, which is already a step above the QD IPS panels you find in other high-end gaming monitors. OLEDs, however, blow away any other type of monitor in terms of HDR, black levels and color rendition. Samsung's QD OLED panel is even better because they're considerably brighter without sacrificing anything. That means they're more versatile in different lighting environments and they can display an even wider range of contrast than regular OLEDs.
Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 for $88
Walmart has just dropped the price of the professional-grade Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 Core to only $88.00. This is fundamentally the same controller as the older generation Xbox Elite Series 2 controller, but at a considerably lower price point. The original Elite Series 2 controller commands a premium MSRP of $180 while the newer Elite Series 2 Core comes in at only $130. The differences are a lot more minor than you'd think given the price discrepancy. For starters, the Elite Series 2 Core is decked out in a two-tone black & white color scheme instead of the Elite Series 2's all-black styling. The original Elite controller also came with more stuff, including extra sets of paddles, thumbsticks, and another D-pad for ultimate customizability as well as a handy travel case. The Elite Series 2 Core doesn't come with any of those accessories. And that's where the differences end.
MSI Codex R RTX 4060 Gaming PC for $849
The MSI Codex R is equipped with an Intel Core i5-13400F CPU, GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD.The RTX 4060 is considerably more powerful than the RTX 3060 and almost nearly matches the RTX 3060 Ti. I would recommend this card for comfortable 1080p gaming although you can also run games at 1440p with relaxed graphic settings. Because it's a current generation card, the RTX 4060 supports the newer DLSS 3.0 and 3.5 tech.
Alienware m16 RTX 4070 Gaming Laptop for $1399.99
Dell has the Alienware m16 RTX 4070 gaming laptop for only $1399.99. That's the best price we've seen for an Alienware RTX 4070 laptop so far. Specs include a 16" 2560x1600 QHD+ 3ms 240Hz G-SYNC IPS display, 13th gen Intel Core i7-13700HX Raptor Lake CPU, 16GB of DDR5-5200MHz RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The RTX 4070 mobile GPU performs on par with the RTX 3080. It's a little bit faster than the RTX 3070 Ti but not quite as powerful as the RTX 3080 Ti.
Get a 1 Year Sams' Club Membership for Only $15
From now until October 15, Sam's Club is offering 70% off its 1-year general membership. The membership normally costs you $50, so right now you'd only be paying $15. The promotion is reserved for new memberships only. Sam's Club is owned and operated by Walmart. Like Costco, this is a warehouse-style retail and online storefront that offers low prices on bulk products and boutique consumer goods.
Alienware AW3821DW 38" Gaming Monitor for $899 + $200 Dell eGift Card
Dell is currently offering its Alienware AW3821DW 38" gaming monitor for only $899.99 plus a bonus $200 Dell promotional gift card. This is easily the best deal we've seen for this highly rated monitor. The Dell eGift Card arrives within a few weeks after your monitor ships out and carries a 90 day expiration. Use the gift card to buy pretty much anything at Dell, including PCs, monitors, gaming consoles, and more.
The Alienware AW3821DW is Dell's largest gaming monitor. It features a 3840x1600 ultrawide resolution with a gentle 2300R curve, up to 1ms gtg response time, and 144Hz refresh rate. It uses a high quality Nano IPS panel (similar to QLED) that you find in higher end LG monitors, which offers deeper, richer colors than a typical LED LCD monitor. This monitor is both VESA DisplayHDR 600 and G-SYNC Ultimate certified. G-SYNC "Ultimate" monitors contain an even higher-end NVIDIA processor built into this monitor for better HDR.
75" Onn 4K Roku Smart TV for $498
As part of its October Holiday Event, Walmart is offering an Onn 75" 4K TV for only $498 shipped. That's $80 cheaper than the last time we posted this deal earlier in the year. The Onn is a gigantic 4K TV at an incredibly low price. Its features include a near frameless bezel, 3 HDMI inputs, and a Roku smart TV interface. A Roku remote is included, but you can also control the TV through your smartphone. If you're on a budget, you won't find a less expensive 75" TV.
Silicon Power 2TB PS5 SSD with Heatsink for $89.97
The Silicon Power XS70 SSD with a preinstalled robust aluminum heatsink has finally dropped back to under $90. This is a fully PS5 compatible SSD. The aluminum heatsink is slim enough to fit in the PS5 without obstruction. It boasts transfer speeds of up to 7300MB/s read and 6800MB/s write, comfortably faster than the 5500MB/s minimum recommended requirement. It actually performs a little better than the Crucial P5 Plus, the WD Black SN850, and the Samsung 980 Pro, although that won't make a difference in your PS5.
IBUYPOWER RTX 3060 Gaming PC for $899
Walmart is offering this IBUYPOWER RTX 3060 gaming PC for only $899. This particular config comes equipped with a liquid-cooled Intel Core i5-13600KF CPU, GeForce RTX 3060 GPU, 16GB of DDR5 RAM, and a 1TB NVMe SSD. The 12th gen Intel Core 15-13600KF Raptor Lake CPU has a max boost clock of 5.3GHz with 14 cores, 20 threads, and a 24MB cache. It's cooled by a robust 240mm all-in-one liquid cooling system and powered by an 750W 80PLUS Gold PSU. The RTX 3060 is a great pick for 1080p gaming, although it does have the chops to run games at up to 1440p. IBUYPOWER gaming PCs do not use any proprietary parts. That means these are off-the-shelf components that are easily sourced and swapped if necessary. They're assembled in the United States and come with a 1 year warranty.
