Pokémon Scarlet and Violet's Paradox Pokémon species have become instant fan favorites in the Pokémon community. This isn't surprising, as GAME FREAK designed Paradox Pokémon to satisfy as many Pokémon fans as possible. Casual and hardcore fans alike rejoiced at seeing these classic Pokémon, reimagined through an unexpected lens. Similarly, by making all Paradox Pokémon extremely powerful with high base stats and diverse movepools, the designers at GAME FREAK gave battle-loving Pokémon fans tons of new Pokémon to use and build teams around. Not all fans love Paradox Pokémon, of course. Some fans claim that they're not different enough from their "normal" counterparts, and others think that some of these species are poorly balanced for competitive battling. Despite this, Pokémon fans still get quite excited about these species, especially since the upcoming Indigo Disk DLC promises to highlight the Paradox Phenomenon.
