Today's daily deals for Saturday, August 12 includes a sale on PlayStation 5 consoles, discounts on Nintendo Switch games like Pikmin 4 and Tears of the Kingdom, deals on Apple AirPods Max Headphones, and more. Check out all of these offers and many more below.

Big PlayStation 5 Sale on Amazon

For this week only, Sony has decided to slash prices on their PS5 console and DualSense controllers. You'll see this sale at quite a few vendors, and that includes Amazon.

Get Pikmin 4 for 15% Off

Pikmin 4 is the latest first-party Nintendo Switch exclusive, and like many other games in the Switch library, it's been nearly instantly recognized as the best game in the franchise. Pikmin 4 is incredible, and feels like the full realization of where the Pikmin franchise started heading in Pikmin 3. It has tons of content, is insanely charming, and is just overall a blast to play. The game is seeing its first big sale today, and I really recommend it.

Tears of the Kingdom Is 19% Off

Tears of the Kingdom is still being talked about online, three months after its release. The game launched at $70, but you can get a nice 19% discount when you buy the game at Amazon today. It's worth every penny, as I'm still playing the game long after launch, and I still have so much left to do.

Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon Is 50% Off

Bayonetta Origins flew underneath a lot of radars when it launched in March earlier this year. I guess it's just one of those years -- not every game can be in the spotlight. But Bayonetta Origins deserves it, as we awarded the game an amazing score in our review. This is a very different game than the rest of the Bayonetta franchise, as it merges light puzzle solving with simple action combat.

Nintendo Switch Digital Game Sale

If you're a digital gamer, there is a sale going on right now at Amazon for some of the best games on Nintendo Switch. Mario Party Superstars is my favorite entry in the long-running series since the GameCube, Mario Tennis Aces deserves more credit than it gets, and Hyrule Warriors is the ultimate fan service romp for any big Zelda fan. Plus, Overcooked and Monster Hunter are two of the greatest third-party games on Nintendo Switch.

Princess Peach amiibo is Back in Stock

This Princess Peach amiibo first launched way back in 2015, and it has recently gone back in stock. This amiibo works across games on Nintendo Switch, like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and a lot more.

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania Is Under $8

Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania compiles every level from Super Monkey Ball 1, 2, and Deluxe in one package. The original Monkey Ball games are some of the absolute best puzzle platformers out there, but even just calling them that doesn't do them justice. You roll a monkey ball through a maze to the goal. It's a simple concept, but they way they take it in every direction imaginable is just amazing.

27" Corsair Xeneon OLED Gaming Monitor for $849.99

Today Amazon has dropped the price of the Corsair Xeneon 27QHD240 27" OLED gaming monitor to $849.99 after you clip a $50 coupon on the product page. It normally retails for $999.99. This is the best price out there right now for an OLED gaming monitor, let alone one that also boasts a blazing fast 240Hz refresh rate! Corsair's OLED panel is manufactured by LG. LG sells its own branded monitor with the exact same panel, but it currently sells for about $1000. Swap the LG logo with Corsair and you'll pay $150 less.

Flexispot Electric Standing Desk for $167.39

For a limited time, Amazon is offering a Flexispot 55"x28" Electric Standing Desk with a single piece white desktop surface and white frame for only $167.39. It's originally $239.99, but there's a $15 coupon you can clip on the product page and an additional 24% off coupon code "249S4NEV" that you will have to apply manually during checkout. Although we have seen less expensive standing desks, they are all smaller at about 48"x24".

The Apple AirPods Max is probably be the nicest pair of headphones you'd ever wear. It's undeniably engineered to the highest standards, pumps out audiophile quality sound, boasts impressive active noise cancellation, feels comfortable to wear even during long listening marathons, and looks like a veritable work of art. Unfortunately, the Apple AirPods Max will also run you a pretty penny with an MSRP of $549. That isn't the kind of money most people would be willing to throw around for a pair of headphones. Fortunately, there is a way you can score a legitimate pair of these headphones at a much lower price point.

Apple AirPods Max Headphones (Apple Reconditioned) for $369.99

Today, Woot has a pair of Apple Certified Reconditioned AirPods Max headphones for $369.99, a hefty $170 (33%) price drop from the original MSRP of $549. Woot states that these Apple Certified refurbs appear practically brand new and are shipped in a custom padded brown box. They include a 90-day limited Woot warranty. Woot itself is owned by Amazon, so you can get free shipping if you're an Amazon Prime member.

2021 Apple 12.9" iPad Pro (WiFi) From $859.99

Woot is offering some outstanding deals on 2021 Apple iPad Pro tablets. These are all brand new with full 1 year Apple warranties that are extendable with AppleCare. That means the iPad you will receive is the exact same as if you were to buy it from the Apple Store itself. Woot is owned by Amazon.

Anker 12-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector with USB for $22.99

Amazon is offering an Anker 12-Outlet Power Strip Surge Protector for only $22.99. This is a great price on a very practical item for just about anyone, whether you're ready to go back to school, setting up a home office or plugging in all your RGB lights and peripherals for your gaming setup. The Anker power strip features a total of twelve AC outlets, one USB Type-C port with 20W of Power Delivery charging, and two legacy USB-A ports with up to 12W of charging.

Lenovo Legion Pro 5 Gen 8 16" RTX 4090 Laptop for $2899.99

This is one of the most powerful laptops that Lenovo sells right now. Let's just say the RTX 4090 makes high end gaming on a laptop possible. The RTX 4090 is the most powerful mobile GPU ever, and by a huge margin. The HP OMEN 17 supplies up to 175W to the GPU. That means this is probably the fully enabled RTX 4090 GPU with a 150W TGP, not the gimped 80W version. It's equivalent to a desktop RTX 3090 GPU.

Lenovo Legion Slim 8 16" RTX 4060 Laptop for $1174.99

Use stackable codes "EXTRA5" and "BUYMORELENOVO" to get this price. If you're looking for a Lenovo ultraportable laptop that has gaming chops, then this Slim model might up right up your alley. Despite it's impressive 16" form factor, it measures only 0.78" thin and weighs in at under 5.07 pounds. It's definitely lighter than the Legion laptops and it sips less power on the CPU front. It makes for a solid gaming PC thanks to the new RTX 4060 GPU.

Lenovo Legion Tower 5i RTX 4070 Gaming PC for $1567.49

The GeForce RTX 4070 matches the performance of the older RTX 3080 but with a few new features exclusive to RTX 40 series GPUs. That means the RTX 4070 can still easily hold its own in any game at 1080p, 1440p, and even 4K. This would be my GPU of choice for comfortable 1440p gaming. Because it's a current gen 40 series card, the RTX 4070 also supports DLSS 3.0, which is DLSS 2.0 plus frame generation. Games that support DLSS 3.0 (like Diablo 4) benefit with noticeably higher fps.

Lenovo Legion RTX 4070 Ti Gaming PC From $1843

The RTX 4070 Ti performs better than the RTX 3090 and way better than the RTX 3080. Compared to AMD's best card, the Radeon RX 7900 XTX, it only performs slighly worse without ray tracing, but it performs better with ray tracing enabled. It also supports DLSS 3.0 (DLSS 2.0 + frame generation), something both the AMD cards and GeForce RTX 30 series lack, and that increases the performance gap for games that support it. It's still a solid card for 4K gaming and significantly cheaper than the RTX 4080 or 4090.
