With a story spanning centuries and the whole cosmos, Foundation is one of the most ambitious television series currently on the air, with the show returning for its second season on Apple TV+ this July. Among the major figures in this interstellar war for supremacy is Hari Seldon (Jared Harris), a scientist who is trying desperately to avert a cataclysmic event, working against the Galactic Empire's calculating Brother Day. Though Hari was killed in the first season, he lives on in digital copies of his consciousness to guide his proteges Gaal Dornick and Salvor Hardin. However, as Hari resurfaces to aid the united Gaal and Salvor, he begins to come apart at the digital seams while the intrigue surrounding the Empire escalates.
