But the show's most well-received alteration involved Superman's iconic love interest and romantic partner, Lois Lane. The series diverged from previous Superman adaptations by emphasizing Lois' love for Clark Kent instead of Superman. But this creative change later introduced problems for Lois' perceptions of Clark.
