The Rising of the Shield Hero has returned for a third season of isekai fun in the Fall 2023 anime season, picking up not long after Season 2's ending point. By now, the worldbuilding and plot of The Rising of the Shield Hero have become impressively complex, from Naofumi's network of allies and friends to his handful of enemies and rivals. He doesn't have to face those Waves alone anymore, but he still seems determined to do just that.
