Sailor Moon has an extensive cast that's received significant character development over the course of several decades, but not all characters receive the same level of attention. Characters like Usagi and the other Sailor Guardians are incredibly well-developed in their multiple iterations, whereas side characters like Naru end up falling off from the series entirely later on.
