According to official numbers provided by Valve, it became PlayStation’s biggest single-player game launch on Steam, hitting a peak concurrent player count of 77,154 on May 19. God of War’s all-time peak is 73,529, achieved when Sony Santa Monica’s action adventure hit Steam two years ago. In 2021, Sony acquired Nixxes Software, a PC port specialist, that handled the highly praised PC version of Ghost of Tsushima. Sucker Punch, the game's developer, expressed gratitude to Nixxes on Twitter, praising their exceptional work on the port. A recent report suggests that God of War: Ragnarok will be the next PlayStation exclusive to debut on PC, while fans of Bloodborne remain hopeful.
