The Deadpool movies showcased many of the fun sides to the character, including his witty sarcasm and impressive skill at beating bad guys. However, the movies also showcased that the character never had much in the way of friends. For example, Weasel was an ally, but he cared more about himself than Deadpool, and Blind Al and Dopinder were supportive but equally cared about their own interests. Granted, Colossus and Cable showed their support for Deadpool as well, but one would never admit it, while the other was more focused on making him an X-Man. But the one friend that was with Deadpool through thick and thin in the comics only had a brief appearance in 2016's Deadpool.
