The main Harry Potter story, told in seven books and eight movies, provided a satisfying conclusion to most character arcs in one way or another. All the main characters got their happily ever after and made something of themselves, and some side characters also got solid endings to their arcs, whether they lived or died. Other character arcs, though, had weak endings.
