The 90s were a weird time for children’s television as everyone tried to carve out their niche on Saturday morning and replicate the success of what worked. For every Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, there was a Street Sharks or Mummies Alive!; for every Barney & Friends, there was something akin to The Adventures of Dudley the Dragon; and for every Power Rangers, there were shows like Van-Pires looking to feed off their audiences.
