Compared to characters like Batman or Daredevil, most superheroes haven't earned the right to make their fans assume that all their stories are great. Superman's fans often only think of a handful of great comics like All-Star Superman or The Warworld Saga. Yet Superman has been featured in hundreds of comics over the years and some of the best have been supplanted by more recent stories.
