We’ve got a new look at The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, the upcoming spinoff focusing on Andrew Lincoln’s Rick and Danai Gurira’s Michonne, as well as a release month.
The Ones Who Live will premiere in February 2024, it was announced today during New York Comic Con. The brief teaser, which you can watch below, doesn’t tell us a lot more, but we do get a few quick glimpses of Rick and Michonne separately.

It was also confirmed that Pollyanna McIntosh will be returning as Jadis, who was seen disappearing in a helicopter with Rick in The Walking Dead Season 9 episode “What Comes After.” Lost star Terry O’Quinn will also be joining the series as a character named Beale, along with Matt Jeffries as the character Nat. They joined the previously announced Lesley-Ann Brandt as Pearl.
We've also got a few new images, which you can see below.
The last information we got from the spinoff came at San Diego Comic-Con, where another new teaser and the official title was revealed (it was previously being referred to as simply The Walking Dead: Rick & Michonne). That teaser, however, focused on Michonne, who’s dealing with the aftermath of finding out that Rick is alive. We’ll likely see them endeavor to find each other in the apocalyptic world we’ve come to know so well.
There’s plenty more The Walking Dead while we wait for The Ones Who Live, though, as it’s the sixth spinoff in the franchise. Another one, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, will air its Season 1 finale this Sunday.
