Dune: Part 2 Post-Credits Scene Check-In (No Spoilers)

Let's make this simple: You want to know if there are any post or mid-credits scenes in Dune: Part 2. The answer is there are not. Denis Villeneuve's latest movie has no scenes after the credits start rolling.

They said Dune was unfilmable, but director Denis Villeneuve aims to prove them all wrong. Dune: Part 2 wraps up Villeneuve's ambitious adaptation of the classic Frank Herbert novel, as Timothée Chalamet's Paul Atreides strikes back against those who betrayed his family in Part 1.

On Friday, we're going to start unpacking Villeneuve's latest sci-fi epic and how it adapts the novel, so be sure to check back then. But there's one important question to address first.

Does: Dune Part 2 Have a Post-Credits Scene?

As noted above, Dune: Part 2 doesn't have any scenes after the credits start rolling. This isn't necessarily a surprise, given that Part 1 also lacked any post-credits scenes. They don't really seem to be Villeneuve's style.

Still, Villeneuve easily could have included a scene after the credits. Dune: Part 2 may wrap up the adaptation of the original novel, but there are numerous sequels left to cover, should Warner Bros. greenlight further sequels. Villeneuve himself is hard at work writing a screenplay for a third Dune movie. He could have ended Part 2 with a tease of what's to come for Paul and family, but instead we'll have to wait until Dune Messiah (hopefully) becomes a reality.
