Seeing Ahsoka Tano standing in the World Between Worlds looking at Anakin Skywalker is not a surprise, to be sure, but it is nonetheless welcome. Along with providing a forum for the two Star Wars characters to meet and interact in live action, it also allows for the kind of examination of the Force that Star Wars: Rebels was known for. This is why it's fitting the mystical location and storytelling device introduced in that animated series shows up for series creator Dave Filoni's first solo flight in the X-Wing cockpit.
