The Godzilla franchise has changed dramatically over the years, with the movies ranging from dark and introspective to goofy and child-friendly. The latter namely focused on concepts such as Godzilla's son, with the classic Showa movies featuring the diminutive monster Minilla/Minya. Since then, Godzilla has had several other offspring, but he's not the only monster to summon his inner father.
