For better or worse, Star Wars is a very cohesive universe. The narrative and thematic continuity in these stories extends beyond simple characters and relationships. Ahsoka on Disney+ is full of Easter eggs to the Star Wars: Rebels series, but it also puts a dark twist on the classic opening of The Phantom Menace. Epic fights in the corridors of spaceships isn't limited to just the first of creator George Lucas's episodes. However, the series opening evokes the film's opening in deliberate ways, down to the dialogue.
