When Netflix first launched Sex Education, many thought it was an American Pie ripoff with horny teens trying to hook up at Moordale Secondary School. However, the series was way more nuanced, dealing with sexuality, adolescence and modern arcs that teens today face in their coming-of-age stories. Gender fluidity, identity and LGBTQ issues were all addressed, giving Asa Butterfield's Otis a lot to handle as he dealt with acting as the school's sex therapist.
