With all the time-bending, spacefaring spectacle in the acclaimed Apple TV+ original series Foundation, one of the science fiction epic’s most pivotal figures is Salvor Hardin (Leah Harvey). A warden on the planet Terminus, Salvor traveled at the end of Season 1 to the aquatic planet Synnax where she revives her mother Gaal Dornick (Lou Llobell) from stasis, with the two women roughly the same age and united in a common purpose across time and space to save the galaxy. As Salvor sets out with Gaal and their mentor Hari Seldon (Jared Harris) to avert a prophesied crisis, she finds she may be the only one that can save humanity from complete calamity as an interstellar conflict sweeps across the galaxy.
