Best Buy is running a 3 Day Sale Event this weekend with some pretty good deals on a couple of current generation gaming desktop PCs. The iBUYPOWER Scale RTX 4060 Ti Gaming PC is on sale right now for $979.99 after a $200 instant discount. Likewise, the less expensive RTX 4060 model is on sale for $879.99 after a $70 instant discount. Both would make great 1080p gaming rigs, although the RTX 4060 Ti variant also has the muscle to run games at 1440p. The AMD Ryzen 7 7700 is a Zen 4 AM5 CPU with a max boost clock of 5.3GHz with 8 cores, 16 threads, and a 32MB L3 cache. The RTX 4060 Ti 8GB video card is an excellent GPU for high-fps 1080p gaming but it's also quite capable of running games at 1440p. It's about 5%-10% faster than the RTX 3060 Ti and 20%-25% faster than the RTX 4060 at 1080p. Because it's a current generation card, the RTX 4060 supports DLSS 3.0. Enable it and you'll get a framerate boost without sacrificing too much visual quality. It's basically like selecting Peformance mode instead of Quality mode on your PS5.

This model includes an Intel Core i5-1440F CPU, GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, 16GB of RAM, and a 1TB SSD. The Intel Core i5-14400F processor is Intel's newest generation CPU and features a Max Turbo frequency of 4.7GHz with 10 cores, 16 threads, and 20MB of total cache. This is a good gaming chip that won't bottleneck your RTX 4060 GPU. The RTX 4060 is considerably more powerful than the RTX 3060 and is closer in performance to the RTX 3060 Ti. This is a great card for comfortable 1080p gaming. You could also run games at 1440p with relaxed graphic settings, but at that point I'd recommend upgrading to an RTX 4060 Ti model instead.
