The new DC Universe is still two years away, but the cinematic reboot is already known to involve a deep sense of history. Superman: Legacy will fittingly establish many of the other heroes in the universe, making it immediately feel alive and full. Given that there are already DCU shows in the works, James Gunn's ambitious plans may finally be able to bring a key part of comic books to the big screen -- one that even the Marvel Cinematic Universe has been trying to establish.
