A Quiet Place is heading to Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights in Orlando and Hollywood later this year.

Universal announced the latest installment in its annual spooky season attraction today, revealing plans to bring the horror movie franchise into the real world with a few interesting twists. As you might have already guessed, the Halloween Horror Nights attraction will incorporate unique sound design to help immerse haunted house fans into the world of Paramount Pictures' A Quiet Place. There's also a new teaser video for the immersive haunted houses to get fans in the mood ahead of their Halloween debut.

“Fans will relive the tension that will come to life in the iconic scenes from the first two films, including traveling through the farmhouse that serves as the Abbott family’s shelter and stepping into the root cellar where Evelyn Abbott escapes to give birth as one of the creatures closes in,” Universal explains. “The snarls of the larger-than-life predators will follow guests at every spine-chilling turn, and guests must remember: if they hear you, they will hunt you.”

The A Quiet Place Halloween Horror Nights attraction also promises unique special effects and performances from scareactors. Additionally, Universal says this installment in Horror Nights will utilize American Sign Language (ASL). Halloween Horror Nights begins in Universal Studios Hollywood on Thursday, September 5, and in Orlando on Friday, August 30. Tickets are on sale now and can be purchased here. Universal promises to reveal more information about additional haunted houses "soon."

In other A Quiet Place news, A Quiet Place: Day One will seek to expand the silent horror franchise when it comes to theaters June 28, 2024. The prequel film takes place before the events of the first two A Quiet Place movies, telling the story of how humanity reacted when aliens fell to Earth. It stars Us and Black Panther’s Lupita Nyong’o and Stranger Things Season 4’s Joseph Quinn. You can see the latest trailer here.

Past Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights attractions have included The Last of Us and Stranger Things. For more, be sure to read our review of the Orlando theme park’s 2023 offerings.
