Spinning out of the events of the Graduation Day miniseries, Josh Trujillo's new Blue Beetle comic is giving fans a fresh look into the mythos of the hero, with new villains like the Blood Scarab causing mayhem for both Jamie Reyes and his predecessor Ted Kord. But while Trujillo is bringing new things to the Blue Beetle franchise, the writer is still taking some time to acknowledge the more classic members of Blue Beetle's cast.
