As the future of the Star Wars franchise sits in a state of limbo, one of the few concrete projects fans have to anticipate is the currently untitled New Jedi Order film that is said to continue the story of the sequel trilogy and its characters. As the film will focus primarily on Rey Skywalker's creation of a New Jedi Order, many fans seem to want Ben Solo to make his grand reappearance. After his death in the climax of The Rise of Skywalker, fans are skeptical to expect any sort of return for the character, but if Star Wars has taught fans anything, it is that death is never the end.
