As with any movie that's roughly 20 years old, the once-reviled Jurassic Park III is enjoying something of an online resurgence today. Although the reclamation of Jurassic Park III isn't as palpable as the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy's redemption in the popular zeitgeist or as contrarian as the fandoms of literally any of the Fantastic Four movies, some viewers are genuinely trying to rewrite the sequel's legacy. To its newfound admirers and especially to those who have been defending it since 2001, Jurassic Park III was the original Jurassic Park trilogy's most underrated entry. Some would even go as far as saying that it was a misunderstood gem that's destined to become a cult classic.
