Unlike Toriyama's previous Dragon Ball series, the Dragon Ball Super anime ran simultaneously with its corresponding manga, rather than the anime beginning much later in the manga's run. Fans of the Dragon Ball Super anime have still had occasional feature films to satiate their need for more content, but the best place to get new Dragon Ball Super stories is in the manga.
