Assassin's Creed Mirage has been hailed as a back-to-basics title, which returned to the fundamentals of what made the series so popular to begin with while shining the light on an overlooked era. Mirage is the first chapter in a new period for developer Ubisoft who are looking to launch the ambitious and unique Assassin's Creed Infinity platform. While many might look at Mirage as a way of reconsolidating what the studio has created thus far as it looks to the future, in actuality it's an important piece of the puzzle and a sign of how Ubisoft will approach future titles.
