When Marvel gave Al Ewing the reins to a new Hulk title in 2018, no one knew that the Green Goliath's journey in Immortal Hulk would take a dark turn through hell and the hero's traumatic past. It won Ewing an Eisner nomination, among other accolades, and gave fans a Hulk tale for the ages. The time has come for Thor of Asgard to get the Immortal treatment as the story looks to expand the Norse mythology in the Marvel universe to mirror the stories from the two Eddur. Immortal Thor #1, written by Al Ewing with artwork from Martín Cóccolo, colors by Matthew Wilson, and letters from VC's Joe Sabino, pits the God of Thunder against a character from the Utgard lands.
