Disney+ subscribers are getting first dibs on upcoming Ahsoka merchandise as the company sets a new precedent for Star Wars collectibles.
As reported by SWNN, Disney is offering subscribers of its streaming platform in the U.S just over a week of exclusive access to various Ahsoka collectibles, toys, and more.
A link and QR code for the official Disney Store will be made available on the Ahsoka Disney+ page when the series premieres on August 23 and until August 31.
The Ahsoka Legacy Saber Set is perhaps the most sought-after piece offered with the timed exclusivity, but a Chopper remote control Astromech Droid toy and collectibles including an Ahsoka bust, pin, and mug, and more are also on offer while stocks last.
Ahsoka progresses the story of Anakin Skywalker's former Padawan following her appearance in The Clone Wars, Rebels, and Tales of the Jedi. It's set to feature some surprising characters too, including the return of a Rebels-era villain and a fan-favourite from the Prequel Trilogy who was seemingly leaked by Star Wars merchandise.
The first two episodes of Ahsoka premiere on Disney+ on August 23 while the remaining six episodes will be released each week. A trailer released earlier in July finally gave fans a look at Lars Mikkelsen's Thrawn alongside other characters like Baylan Skoll, played by the late Ray Stevenson who died aged 58 earlier this year.
