One of the fascinating things in the world of comics is how much the Marvel Cinematic Universe can eventually influence the Marvel Universe, as well. We see it all the time when certain pairings that occurred prominently within the MCU make their way to the Marvel Universe, as well, and it appears as though that might be happening with Elsa Bloodstone and Jack Russell, the werewolf star of Werewolf By Night. The two made an impressive pair in last year's Werewolf by Night TV special on Disney+, but outside a brief period where they were both part of a group called the Monster Hunters (and briefly dated off-panel), the two characters didn't share a ton of comic book history together. That appears to be changing in September's Werewolf by Night #1 by Derek Landy and Fran Galán).
