DC Comics has created timeless characters, but they haven't had the same kind of success at the movie theater that their marvelous competition has in recent years. However, the new DCU looks to change all of that. James Gunn is a noted DC fan, and having him partly in charge of the new movies with Peter Safran is a step in the right direction.
