Marvel Comics has plenty of heroes and villains with great superpowers, but some denizens of the Marvel Universe like to use a weapon that's a bit older. Namely, the sword. Humanity mastering metallurgy was a huge jump forward, because it made swords possible. Swords became a primary weapon for millennia, and many cultures created martial arts that revolved around it. While swords are mostly passé as a modern weapon, they can still be deadly in the right hands.
