Having answered the question of Maddie Bosch's fate, Bosch: Legacy is now free to start on Season 2's next great mystery. A sheriff's deputy comes home to find his wife brutally murdered. Four months later, Maddie arrives at her father's house to learn he's just fired his contractor; he's determined to finish home repairs himself, as a way of fixing something. And Honey Chandler's former client David Foster is arrested for the aforementioned murder, while Chandler herself gets a visit from the FBI related to Carl Rogers. She passes this news on to Bosch, who is unconcerned but points out that going straight to him is exactly what the Bureau wanted her to do.
