Netflix is expanding on the world of Eternia with the upcoming animated series Masters of the Universe: Revolution, but there's more to the story. IGN can exclusively reveal the first details of Dark Horse's prequel comic.
Also titled Masters of the Universe: Revolution, this new four-issue limited series will focus on the early days of Skeletor and Hordak. Readers will learn more about how the two originally forged their evil alliance of magic and technology and why they've been at each other's throats ever since.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution is written by animated series producers Tim Sheridan, Rob David and Ted Biaselli, with art by Daniel HDR, inks by Keith Champagne, colors by Brad Simpson and letters by AndWorld Design. Issue #1 features a main cover by Dave Wilkins and a variant cover by Tyler Boss.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution #1 is priced at $3.99 and will be released on May 15, 2024.
