Maya Lopez - otherwise known as Echo - joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2021. Echo typically works alone, but there are a few Marvel characters that she could team up with in future MCU projects. She is a deaf member of the Choctaw tribe, and she has a prosthetic leg. Maya did not allow these disabilities to define her, and she became a master martial artist, marksman, acrobat, and swordswoman. In Echo, she gains the ability to call upon the skills and strengths of her ancestors.
