Before the First Order's arrival, the New Republic was sorely tested in the face of villains like Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati, Morgan Elsbeth, and most of all, Grand Admiral Thrawn. Even if the story felt a bit thin, it still played an essential role in the Star Wars saga. However, this story is not yet complete, and fans want more.
