Modern Horizons and Mondern Horizons 2 have both introduced some of the most powerful cards in the history of Magic The Gathering. From format staples like Force of Negation to Urza's Saga, to boogymen like Hogaak, Arisen Necropolis and Arcum's Astrolabe the Modern Horizons sets have consistently produced highly relevant Modern cards. The termors of the set can even be felt in other formats. While Hogaak may be the most memorable banned Modern Horizons card, Arcum's Astrolabe broke both Pauper and Legacy. Even Commander wasn't unaffected as Urza, Lord High Artificer managed to introduce another brutal stax commander to the EDH format.
