Starting in 2019, Star Wars fans were treated to some excellent live-action TV shows to match popular animated series like The Clone Wars. First was The Mandalorian, a more grounded exploration of the Star Wars galaxy through the eyes of Din Djarin the Mandalorian, and more excellent shows followed. The most recent TV title, Ahsoka, also pleased fans with its prequel throwbacks, lightsaber battles and the first live-action appearance of Grand Admiral Thrawn.
