The Halloween franchise has always maintained that, no matter the source of his power, Michael Myers was a being that could never be stopped without force. He was a locomotive of evil that, once started, would rack up an impressive body count with little effort on his part. As the franchise grew in scope and shifted into various timelines, Michael's brutality became a constant. Another constant was that even though the killer was masked, he was occasionally shown without it to prove the real horror of the character. Even still, while it was shown only a few times, his face has remained a mystery to many.
