Here's the rub. The PlayStation 5 Pro has officially been announced with a monumental price tag of $699.99. It's expensive, and it will be even more expensive if you're buying both the PS5 Disc Drive and PS5 Vertical Stand (which aren't included with the Pro).

Both are currently available at Amazon at the time of writing, but there's no telling how long this will last, especially after PS5 Pro preorders kick off on September 26. The 'PS5 Disc Drive' is currently number eight in the top sellers at Amazon, and sold out at retailers like Best Buy. If you want one, you better buy it now before they all get snapped up. These disc drives are useable on both the PS5 Pro and the PS5 Slim models.

Where to Buy PS5 Vertical Stand - $29.99
It's not an essential purchase, but if you really want to have you PS5 Pro standing up looking its best with optimal airflow, a vertical stand isn't a bad shout. Just a shame it's not packed in with the $700 console in all honesty. But, similar to the Disc Drive, these will likely sell out in the weeks to come.
Now you've spent an extra $110 + tax on completing your purchase, congrats! Yeah I know, it's a tough sell. Plenty of fans have already expressed shock at the $700 price, and myriad IGN polls suggest as few as 15% of people plan to buy a PS5 Pro. In a questionnaire asking if the console is reasonably priced, with more than 50,000 responses, 73.9% of responders said it was way too expensive.
The PS5 Pro arrives in November, with preorders up on September 26 from PS Direct, and October 10 at other retailers. It has a GPU with 67% more compute units than the current PS5 console and 28% faster memory, which enables up to 45% faster rendering for gameplay.
