The long-awaited anime adaptation of Junji Ito's horror manga Uzumaki debuts this weekend on Adult Swim. IGN's Uzumaki review said the premiere episode "does the seemingly impossible: adapts a Junji Ito story into motion and makes it fun, silly, and horrifying."

How to Watch Uzumaki - Release Schedule and Streaming Info
Uzumaki (subbed) premieres live tonight, Saturday, September 28, at 12:30 a.m. EST during Adult Swim's Toonami block. An English dubbed version of the episode will air next Thursday.
Each episode will be available to stream on Max the day after its Adult Swim debut (both Japanese and English versions). This means the first episode will be available to stream on Max tomorrow, September 29.

“Let’s leave this town together,” asks Shuichi Saito, a former classmate of Kirie Goshima, a high school girl who was born and grew up in Kurouzu-cho. Everything from a strange whirlwind, billowing smoke from the crematorium, and the residents is turning into spirals. People’s eyes spin in whirls, a tongue spirals, and the bodies twist unnaturally. In an attempt to escape the curse of the spirals, Kirie decides to flee from Kurouzu-cho, but can she get away from this turmoil?
