The Barbie animated universe has many versions of twice-told fairytales, literary stories, and classic ballet fables. Before Tangled took Disney by storm, the only popular animated version of Rapunzel was Barbie as Rapunzel. Though Disney and Barbie's Rapunzel have much in common, Barbie as Rapunzel still stands on its own today.
