Marvel Cinematic Universe has explored some strange corners, from the cosmic to the supernatural. But one of the most peculiar projects to be explored came with the Eternals. The Eternals were a group of humanoid machines created by the Celestials to foster the growth of planets. When it's time for one to emerge, the Eternals leave and go to foster a new world as an incubator for a Celestial. This led to blind loyalty to the Celestials that bordered on fanaticism and could make some superpowered Eternals like Ikaris viable threats to those that faced him.
